I like flow charts

This may be a bit late, since the public plan may well be in the ICU on comfort care, but, via Ezra, here's a nice flow chart of how the health insurance reforms would actually look, in terms of relative impact:

  1. What are the units in the right-hand column of boxes? I'm guessing either people or dollars.

  2. That flowchart is remarkably insufficient for describing the vast system-wide effects of restructuring a $2.5 trillion economic system.

    The chart at the very least needs to add arrows which show the flow of individuals from their current private plans to the government plan when their old plans go out of business due to government subsidies of the public option.
