Court Rules: Sky Blue, Water Still Wet

Also, Vaccines Don't Cause Autism, Chocolate Pudding is a tasty treat, and Mr Rogers is a beloved children's entertainer.

I don't think for a moment that this will cause the poor, deluded anti-vaxxers to see the light.  But another brick in the wall against their misguided cause is a good thing.

  1. Love the title of the post.
    Have to remember that one.

  2. The saddest thing is the *enormous* sum of money that's been spent chasing down the supposed vaccine-autism connection, which could have instead been spent on autism research that could yield real new insights on causes, therapies, etc.

  3. Let's hope that this means that we can move ON. I have 3 autistic kids, and I'd love to see the time, energy and money that's been spent on the vaccine crap to go towards helping my kids live the best lives that they possibly can.

The court ruling is probably not going to change anyone's mind, as I've yet to meet a scientifically grounded, rational anti-vaccinationist with an autistic family member. But maybe, just maybe, the "next generation" will think more about how their children or loved ones can live in society rather than looking for an easy thing to blame. Autistic people deserve better than that.

  4. I really need to go to bed... I looked at the first sentence and read, "Valentines Don't Cause Autism." *FACEPALM*
