Fuuunnny...I definitely was expecting Something Else to happen.
In all seriousness, if the sting is mild, a bit of vinegar will do the trick...if it's severe (like a box jellyfish) ain't no insurance that will help with that....I guess the in-between cases that require meds need the insurance policy. Of course, the point is, always be prepared! Thanks for sharing!
About me: I am an ER physician and administrator living in the Pacific Northwest. I live with my wife and four kids. Various other interests include Shorin-ryu karate, general aviation, Irish music, Apple computers, and progressive politics. My kids do their best to ensure that I have little time to pursue these hobbies.

ROFL! I wasn't expecting that.
If it is ok to ask, how is your wife doing?
Oh, to be a jellyfish.
Unrelated note:
I thought you'd be interested in this patient's eye view saga of visiting an ER with a fever and what turned out to be Lyme.

Is the patient's fury unreasonable, from an ER point of view?
Hahaha! You just totally made my day! Eye candy and a laugh! Thanks!
